What you'll do: 

  • Vets and provides viable serving opportunities for Rooted groups across all campuses
  • Follows up with Rooted groups after their serve experience to get them serving more
  • Provides leadership and has day-to-day responsibility for all Next Gen (defined as Student Ministry, College Ministry, School of Ministry, and Lakepointe Young Adults) mission trips and local serving rhythms
  • Provides leadership and has day-to-day responsibility for central serving mobilization efforts such as all-campus serve events, special events, etc.
  • Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
  • Provides leadership for the improvement of the mission trip experience with particular emphasis on team leader recruitment, training, and effectiveness, spiritual experience for trip participants while on trips and the overall trip experience

Skills & Experience you’ve had:

  • Travel required
  • Prior pastoral experience required
  • Experience mobilizing teams and groups of people in broad scale serving opportunities 
  • Experience shepherding a wide demographic of people in spiritual conversations from a strong Biblial knowledge
  • Teachable spirit, humble - pursuing feedback and coaching
