Who you are:
You are a versatile and detail-oriented team member who can bridge the gap between technical development and content management. You can combine the creativity of maintaining engaging, brand-consistent content across our website and mobile app with the technical skills to enhance functionality, manage integrations, and ensure a seamless user experience. You can collaborate across the marketing, communications, design, and tech departments to bring both content and features to life.
What you'll do:
- Update, publish, and maintain content across website and mobile app using CMS platforms (e.g.- WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Rock RMS)
- Develop, customize, and optimize functionality within CMS and app frameworks
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Work with APIs, system integrations, and deployment workflows (e.g., Rock RMS, Apollos)
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges
- Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to implement campaigns, features, and seasonal initiatives
- Perform basic layout adjustments and content formatting within CMS tools
- Support basic graphic design needs using tools like Canva or Adobe Express
- Monitor and improve digital platforms for quality, accuracy, relevance, and SEO best practices
- Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- 3+ years of experience in web and/or app development, software engineering, or digital content management
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React or React Native
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Rock RMS)
- Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks (React Native, Apollos)
- Understanding of REST APIs, version control (Git), and deployment processes
- Strong organizational and editing skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to balance clean, maintainable code with efficient feature delivery
- Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility, and UI/UX best practices
- Bonus: experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase) or DevOps tooling
- Experience in a church or non-profit setting is a plus, but not required
