What you'll do:
- Manage safety and security strategies that align with Lakepointe's mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure safe and secure environments at LP campuses for attendees, volunteers, and staff, as well as secure property assets
- Recruit, assist with onboarding, developing, and training of safety and security volunteers across all LP campuses
- Participate with activating standard operating procedures (SOP) for multiple scenarios and emergency preparedness activities
- Develop partnerships and contacts with city, county, state, and federal emergency managers, fire services, and law enforcement agencies in each community Lakepointe serves
- Investigate accidents and incidents on church property and when necessary, provide written reports and develop measures to prevent reoccurrence
- Monitor the performance of all security, medical, and surveillance equipment
- Work with vendors ensuring equipment compliance
- Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
- Serve as the point of contact for campus security alarms
- Assist with security training across all campuses, including but not limited to: firearms qualification, service disruption, and CPR training
- Execute safety and security strategies across all campuses
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Safety and Security
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-10+ years of experience in an applicable safety and security field and environment
- Basic mathematical skills, knowledge of budgeting and expense monitoring
- Basic knowledge of social networking fundamentals, content creation, and integration
- Ability to apply creative and innovative thinking to situations
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
