What you'll do: 

  • Serve on the KidQuest Leadership Team
  • Weekly check on all K/3 resources, ensure supplies are maintained in K/3 environments, and all K/3 rooms are LP Clean
  • Assist in the leadership and execution of our Young Christians Class
  • Have baptism conversations with kids expressing an interest in baptism
  • Help onboard and train student volunteers that want to serve in LP Kids ministry
  • Be a contagious contributor to team culture
  • Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
  • Attend Next Steps Class as a representative of LP Kids as needed
  • Be on call to help out our midweek childcare team on Tuesday nights
  • Lead and supervise Saturday/Sunday Grade School Bible Study programming
    • Direct oversight of K/3 small groups and Studio Leaders/Greeters
    • Floor supervision during the 4 and 5:30 service on Saturday and the 9:30 and 11 service on Sunday
    • Build up strong Saturday and Sunday volunteer leadership team
    • Constantly recruit new volunteers to serve on your team
    • Meet regularly with volunteers for coffee and lunches to encourage and support them

Skills & Experience you’ve had:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Kid’s ministry leadership experience (staff or volunteer) is preferred 
  • Teaching experience or early childhood development roles preferred
