Who you are:
You are passionate about building and equipping volunteer teams to disciple the next generation. Your years of ministry experience have equipped you to lead teams of staff and volunteers to create dynamic ministry environments. You have strong communication skills and connect well with students, volunteers, and parents. Good day, or bad, people feel the love of Jesus when they are around you. You look for opportunities to help others find the way God has wired them and connect them to volunteer opportunities – not because you want something from them, but because you want something for them. You have a deep theological understanding that guides your decision-making.
What you'll do:
- Lead a team of high capacity student pastors, associates, ministry residents, and volunteers to build a growing Student Ministry at the Rockwall campus.
- Oversee programming for our Middle School and High School ministry: groups, midweek programming, missions, school campus ministries, and special events; prioritizing a strong group culture for the campus
- Provide spiritual guidance and support to staff, volunteers, and families of the Rockwall Campus
- Build strong, growing volunteer teams within the Middle School and High School ministries
- Serve on the Campus lead team under the direction of the Rockwall Campus Pastor
- Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
- Partner with Central Students to receive and provide feedback related to student ministry programming
- Participate in general pastoral duties as needed at the Campus for families and Church members as needed (counseling, benevolence, baptisms, etc.)
- Maintain consistent and effective ministry to school campuses leading the ministry team to attend student games, lunches, FCA meetings and other activities that would provide opportunity to get to know and minister to students
- Attend and help execute summer camps, mission trips, and other special events
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- Previous experience serving in a large student ministry context (5+ years)
- Leadership, teaching, counseling education/experience
