What you'll do: 

• Champion the spiritual leadership and pastoral direction of college-aged students by building strategic relationships with key conveners and influential leaders who shape the next generation
• Identify, develop, and equip leaders to serve as coaches and captains and Rooted leaders within the Lakepointe College Ministry
• Collaborate with the College Pastor to evaluate, strategize, and execute training processes that prepare and release students into meaningful ministry opportunities
• Have a regular presence at college campuses throughout the DFW metroplex to connect with, recruit, disciple, and develop college students
• Lead host moments, develop leaders through huddles and training, teach breakouts, and speak as needed with the College Pastor
• Represent Lakepointe College Ministry at High School Camp each summer by building relationships with graduating seniors and leading breakout sessions
• Participate in and help lead College Ministry mission trips focused on connecting with and discipling college students

Skills & Experience you’ve had:

• A Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in pastoral or ministry roles, with a focus on working with college students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with and relate to college students
• Deep understanding of culture, challenges, and spiritual needs as it relates to today's college students
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
• High-level networking and relationship skills
