What you'll do:
- Serve across all areas of the Groups ministry, shifting focus based on the season, ministry calendar, and greatest ministry opportunity.
- Provide leadership, execution, and support across Rooted, Life Groups, leader development, events, communication, and other ministry initiatives.
- Step into new or emerging initiatives as the needs of the Groups ministry evolve as directed by the Lead Groups Pastor.
- Coach ministry teams in effective leader preparation, group curation, and Rooted environments.
- Shepherd and develop leaders through coaching, encouragement, and spiritual conversations.
- Lead and participate in leader training, huddles, gatherings, and other development experiences.
- Develop and maintain systems that create clarity, efficiency, and excellence within Groups ministry.
- Develop and manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
- Manage a wide range of responsibilities including communication, spreadsheets, scheduling, project management, meetings, phone calls, and other ministry tasks.
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- Experience recruiting, equipping, coaching, and developing volunteers and high-capacity leaders.
- Strong interpersonal and pastoral skills with the ability to engage people in meaningful spiritual conversations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create systems, processes, resources, and communication that bring clarity to others.
- Proactive, self-directed, and highly resourceful.
- Teachable spirit with a willingness to receive feedback and coaching.
- Comfortable working across different age groups, ministry environments, and leadership levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to learn new applications and systems.
- BA/BS preferred.
