What you’ll do:

 

  • Operate main telephone switchboard during regular office hours
  • Assist walk- up benevolence cases with scheduling an appointment as needed
  • Observing current security protocol, assist guests with sign in and access to the building in a positive and friendly manner
  • Efficiently answer all incoming calls, screen, and direct them to the appropriate staff member
  • Obtain event details and upcoming calendar information to be able to quickly answer questions
  • Provide administrative assistance to Lakepointe staff as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of work activities including calls or information received regarding guests, church members or internal church activity
  • Attend monthly all staff meetings and Rockwall Campus staff meeting
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills & Experience you’ve had:

  • Customer service minded with a heart for ministry and mission of Lake Pointe Church
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook
  • Basic Administrative skills: copier, phone, printers
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment with constant interruption
  • Infectious positive attitude, people-oriented, team player
  • High School diploma
  • At least 3 years prior work office assistant or customer service-related work required
  • Bilingual Speaker Preferable
